WHERE THE FINITE MEETS INFINATE
SOMETHING LESS THAN DEFINABLE
Chiseling, cutting, grinding and polishing, perfect institutionally square and beveled edges that are dedicated to the projection of undefinable things or unknown expressions. Here I have sculpted the paradoxical statement of the spontaneous and temporary essence of graffiti on less than permanent structures in stone. As institutions, structures and belief systems fade away, the nature of creativity avails. This concept comes close to the wall installations "Finding Zero" that questions definitions and the importance of creativity being this delicate place where the concave form spoons into the convex. Where opposites can agree and basic truths are realized.
